The Grist Mill

A day in the country is better than a holiday. We packed a lunch and headed west on Highway 3. The weather was iffy and could turn to rain or the sun could come out, either way it was still a day in the country.

Just before Keremeos there was a road sign that read "Visit The Grist Mill and Gardens". We hadn't been there before so it would be an adventure.

The Mill was beautifully on its way to a great restoration with tools of the past on display.

Other things that caught the eye were hollowed out gourds fill with pine cones.

This could be a new crop of gourds to be harvested in the fall.

All and all a grate day in the country.

Until next time remember to "Discover It and Live It".
